Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Independently handle large-scale legal notice mailings.
- Perform court filings across multiple jurisdictions, including electronic and paper submissions.
- Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence without direct supervision.
- Manage communications, including taking calls and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain and update online client management systems.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and court dates.
- Manage attorney calendars and track critical deadlines.
- Perform additional administrative duties such as billing and preparing expense reports.
- Proven experience in a legal support role with a strong understanding of legal terminology and court filing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal case management software, and other office technologies.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of specific legal procedures related to foreclosure is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
