Legal Admin - Foreclosures

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Independently handle large-scale legal notice mailings.
  • Perform court filings across multiple jurisdictions, including electronic and paper submissions.
  • Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence without direct supervision.
  • Manage communications, including taking calls and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain and update online client management systems.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and court dates.
  • Manage attorney calendars and track critical deadlines.
  • Perform additional administrative duties such as billing and preparing expense reports.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a legal support role with a strong understanding of legal terminology and court filing procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal case management software, and other office technologies.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of specific legal procedures related to foreclosure is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
