Kennedys, recently ranked as a Leading Firm in The Legal 500 US 2022, and maintained our rankings in Chambers USA 2022 for Insurance and Insurance: Dispute Resolution, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Legal Assistant to join our Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation and will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our attorneys. This role will involve assisting with all aspects of litigation, including discovery, court filing, and trial preparation. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to perform a high level of executive assistance including coordinating schedules, handling communication and executing administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation and will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our attorneys. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to perform a high level of executive assistance including coordinating schedules, handling communication and executing administrative tasks.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation
- Executive Assistance experience to senior attorneys which may include calendar and communication management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, confidentiality and discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills and have a keen attention to detail
- Ability to turn work around in an efficient manner with minimal errors is required
- Effective communication skills and ability to proactively manage assignments
- Thorough working knowledge of and experience working with the Federal and Pennsylvania State court systems.
- Knowledge and experience working with the New Jersey or Delaware court systems is not required, but would be considered a bonus
- Where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience. This does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience.
