**Role Overview**

As a transcriptionist for VIQ Solutions, you will be responsible for transcribing depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with meticulous attention to detail. Your tasks will involve processing audio recordings using specific style guides to produce verbatim transcripts, requiring familiarity with legal terminology and excellent grammar skills.

**Responsibilities**

• Transcribe depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain adherence to set deadlines and client-specific style guides.
• Collaborate remotely with our in-office team for guidance and support.
• Process audio/text content, which may include sensitive or offensive material.
• Utilize cutting-edge transcription technology to produce quality transcripts.
  
  

**Requirements**

• Prior experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
• Excellent listening skills with a high level of literacy and grammar proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and the ability to pass a background check.
• Availability to work 24/7/365, including weekends.
