Job Description
We are seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract candidates proficient in transcribing depositions and hearings. This is a fully remote opportunity for Independent Contractors, involving transcription of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. Attention to detail, knowledge of legal terminologies, and impeccable grammar are key requirements for this role.
Responsibilities
Transcribe audio recordings accurately following style guides.
Set your own schedule as an independent contractor.
Receive support and guidance from our in-office team.
Weekend availability is a plus.
Skill Requirements
Experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Excellent listening skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to style guides.
Strong literacy skills.
Remote collaboration capabilities.
Proficient typing skills.
Willingness to transcribe potentially sensitive content.
Background check clearance.
Familiarity with legal terminologies.
Court reporting students are welcome to apply.
Not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.

Windows 10.
Antivirus program with daily updates (Except Webroot antivirus).
Infinity Foot Pedal (recommended).
