Job Summary

Loudoun County Public Library (LCPL) is seeking to fill a Head of Circulation position at the Brambleton Library in Brambleton, VA. The Head of Circulation will oversee the circulation department in a branch, supervise and evaluate staff, maximize the workflow, demonstrate skill in working with the Integrated Library System and related technologies, serve as a member of the branch management team and ensure the daily delivery of high-quality customer service.

LCPL provides services seven (7) days a week including Friday and Saturday nights. Work schedules vary and include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Hiring salary is commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree. Supervisory experience and experience working in a library are strongly preferred

Job Contingencies And Special Requirements

Hold or obtain a Notary Public license within one (1) year of hire. Passport Acceptance Agent may be required within one (1) year of hire date. Work requires ability to push or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 200 pounds. Some bending, reaching, walking and standing required. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required. Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred.
