Job Summary
Join our team as a Logistics Coordinator where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our direct sales team. You'll be responsible for coordinating domestic truckload and LTL logistics, ensuring seamless operations and top-notch customer support. This position offers a dynamic environment where your contributions will directly impact our success.
Responsibilities
Coordinate appointments and manage logistics for domestic truckload and LTL shipments.
Utilize our Transportation Management System (TMS) to ensure smooth transportation operations.
Support daily sales pipeline activities by generating reports and collaborating with various internal teams.
Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and requests.
Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers on delivery status.
Obtain competitive shipment quotes to optimize cost-efficiency.
Actively contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Maintain accurate customer account profiles to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in office logistics support; 3-5 years in customer service or logistics is advantageous.
Skills
Strong understanding of truckload transportation and freight forwarding operations.
Experience in coordinating domestic and international shipments across various modes (Parcel Shipping, LTL, Truckload, Intermodal).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and V-Look ups.
Familiarity with proprietary sales/inventory management tools is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across different teams and customer levels.
Work Conditions/Physical Demands
This is a remote position within the USA with no travel required.
