Job Description
Responsible for processing, mining, and analyzing business and market data to improve decision making across cross-functional teams that include marketing, finance, product, sales, materials, and operations stakeholders. This position supports the Business Development/Corporate Strategy team by providing accurate and timely analysis on identification and evaluation of business results, business trends, customer mix, new customer, and market growth opportunities.

About The Team
You will be part of Carmeuse Americas, a Rock-Star team of 2500 workers and employees bringing with them their own culture and specific needs. The Americas headquarters are located in Pittsburgh, PA and have over three dozen production facilities across the Eastern U.S., Canada, Chile, Brazil, and Colombia.
Responsible for processing, mining, and analyzing business and market data to improve decision making across cross-functional teams that include marketing, finance, product, sales, materials, and operations stakeholders. This position supports the Business Development/Corporate Strategy team by providing accurate and timely analysis on identification and evaluation of business results, business trends, customer mix, new customer, and market growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes data to evaluate one or more of the following: business results, market trends, competitive landscape, cost/benefit, and supply/demand
- Organizes complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques
- Understands competitive landscape and articulates shifting market dynamics
- Completes specific research projects in support of product and strategic planning process
- Supports the strategic marketing, commercial, product, and other cross functional teams on the division’s strategy, action plans, and execution
- Supports emerging market analysis and integration into business plan
- Supports mid-to-long term revenue strategies with business development team through data driven analytics to drive the company in the best direction forward
- Supports the development of compelling business case(s) for key initiatives, including detailed market and financial analysis
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Bachelors degree in Business or Finance
- 3 + years of applicable financial analysis OR business intelligence experience
- Experience conducting and presenting market analysis
- Merger & Acquisition experience preferred
- Ability to travel up to 10-20%
