Impackt Packaging is a distribution company in Hazleton, PA looking to add a Machine Technician to our expanding team!
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Understanding, knowledge, and experience with packing-related equipment (i.e. stretch film machines, shrink film machines, auto baggers, case erectors, carton sealers, strapping, etc)
Understanding of automated packaging equipment
Must be able to perform installations & new setups of packaging equipment
Ability to read manuals, blueprints, drawings, and diagrams of all packaging equipment
Must speak, read and write English
Ability to fix, repair, service, and perform maintenance on packaging equipment
Travel to customers to perform maintenance, service, installations, and repair
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and take corrective action for machine failures and issues
Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent, trade school and or engineering degree a plus.
3+ years of experience in conventional machining tools such as packaging machines.
Ability to read drawings/specifications and interpret a variety of instructions whether in written, oral, or diagram form.
Knowledge of various types of machinery & their specific functions.
Knowledge of various machining processes and functions.
Speak, read, and write in English.
Demonstrate initiative & the ability to work independently.
