DSJ Global is partnered with a top chemical manufacturer to add an Maintenance Manager to their Tennessee Site.
Responsibilities:
Ensure a well-trained staff for supporting trades essential to equipment maintenance, including electricians, pipefitters, instrumentation, and general mechanical repair.
Lead by example in the safe and environmentally responsible execution of manufacturing operations, incorporating safety, health, and environmental (S/H/E) considerations into projects, repairs, plans, and work products.
Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis, participate in and implement recommendations from Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA).
Conduct pre-start-up safety reviews for newly modified processes and modifications, championing the safety vision, S/H/E initiatives, and programs.
Operate independently in these activities and mentor direct reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a B.S. in an engineering field from an accredited college or university.
At least 10-15 years of direct maintenance and engineering experience, preferably in high-hazard chemical operations.
Over 5 years of supervisory experience.
