Job Title: Manager Application Engineering (multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Leads and utilizes highly technical skills to contribute as an engineer within a product team designing, developing code, and maintaining quality technology solutions for a product or set of products including developing own subject matter expertise. Demonstrated experience in multiple software languages, modern software methods, CI/CD, cloud, and automated testing. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer; Enterprise Architect; Application Specialist; or Web Team Manager-related occupation.

Position required skills: Position requires experience in the following: Work with Agile methodologies and tooling including JIRA for scoping new projects; Manage intake of work through backlog prioritization, JIRA project timeline (roadmap), IT Services Management and ITIL Framework and other project management activities including budget and personnel to meet project and company specific performance expectations; Work with Cloud platforms and technology including Docker containers, Cruise Control, Open Data, launch of microservices applications; Work with Application programming using Java, Spring Framework and Angular; 2 years of experience in people leadership.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $144,560.00 to $175,600.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
