What You’ll Do

Samsung Device Solutions America is seeking a motivated self-starter to manage the customer selection of Samsung for DRAM-based memory solutions being used in a breadth of applications. You will be focused on successful engineering engagement to drive the lead supplier position for design-in and qualification, from technical program management and sampling to engineering debugging in a collaborative environment. You will interact with sales team members and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment with customer objectives and foster deeper engagement and relationships.

Having held a related engineering role in the past as an Field Application Engineer, Technical program manager, or a role related to chipset bring up and debugging, technical problem solving, system architecture, memory interface design and development, or platform validation is a plus.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our Bellevue location 3-4 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time with an average of 10% travel per month.

Reports to: Senior Director, Product Marketing

  • Technical support of Samsung DRAM based products such as LPDDRx, GDDRx, HBM, and emerging memory solutions to key customers.
  • Be the voice of the customer within Samsung; this entails understanding the basis of the customer requirements, delineating between wants and needs, and adding value in the engagement and driving crisp yet complete communication internally on customer matters.
  • Develop subject matter expertise needed to provide first-line technical or operational issue resolution as needed to drive to closure.
  • Synchronize with Samsung business teams to assure that the Samsung Technical strategy is fully aligned with our Business strategy
  • Manage critical relationships with key customer decision makers
  • Demonstrating intellectual curiosity to fully understand customer experience associated with key attributes to success
  • Demonstrate leadership through influencing, relationship building, customer focus, efficiency, excellent communication skills, and self-development
  • Ability to communicate at various management levels
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline with 10+ Years Experience or Master’s Degree with 8+ years Experience. Degree with Electrical Engineering a Plus!
  • Clear understanding and first-hand knowledge of the application of DRAM in computer architecture or related embedded subsystems with minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Semiconductor industry experience is a plus
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Windows, MS Office, and Customer Management Systems.
  • Some travel required, both international and domestic. Approximately 1-3 times quarter, subject to customer needs.
  • Experience in the high-performance DRAM or related memory interface design and/or implementation such as graphics processors, ASICs, or other performance-oriented applications.
  • Prior experience as an Applications, Development, Design, or Validation Engineer, or a related technical role.
  • Strong presentation & PowerPoint skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • Must be self-starter, proactive, dedicated, and a team player.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range

$125,600—$194,400 USD
