Position Summary

  • The Manager, Customer & Sales Support reports to the Senior VP & General Manager.
  • Located in Boston, MA.
  • Full-Time

The TriMark Innovation Center is a unique destination showcasing the very best in tabletop design and equipment. We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Manager to deliver a first-class customer experience and help drive sales. Responsibilities include all aspects of showroom operations, from creating captivating displays and maintaining partnerships to managing customer appointments and supporting the sales team. Through a mix of operations, sales and marketing, the position will help maintain TriMark’s place as a tastemaker and leader in the food-service industry. The role requires a versatile and self-motivated individual who is both comfortable working behind the scenes and front and center as needed.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, layout, and maintenance of the showroom, ensuring a visually appealing and informative space for customers.
  • Manage product inventory and coordinate maintenance and delivery logistics of product and equipment.
  • Coordinate and host customer appointments, providing exceptional hospitality and in-depth product demonstrations.
  • Organize and execute engaging customer events, such as product launches and equipment demonstrations.
  • Manage and cultivate strong relationships with existing vendor partners and identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and equipment in the restaurant industry and keep the showroom stocked with innovative, cutting-edge solutions.
  • Assist in collecting and documenting engaging content from sales and partner appointments/events.
  • Support marketing teams with operations and initiatives, including–new products, promotions, spiffs, sales meetings, and local branding programs.
  • Responsible for relationship between building management and TriMark.
  • Oversee expenses and costs related to maintaining the Innovation Center.

Competencies

  • Prior experience in the Restaurant/ Hospitality Industry.
  • Keen sense of style and design in a foodservice application.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as an integral part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of social media channels.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Solid product knowledge of restaurant supplies or related food-service experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of china, glassware, & flatware a plus.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • 2 + years of related customer service, hospitality or marketing experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
