Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Raw Material Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the transportation, storage, and distribution of raw materials. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and effective flow of raw materials throughout the supply chain, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the transportation and storage of raw materials.
• Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouses to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure adequate stock of raw materials.
• Implement and maintain logistics policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in raw material logistics management within the [industry type] sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, inventory management, and supply chain best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Certification in logistics management (e.g., CLTD, PLog, or equivalent) is a plus
