About The Position

The Manager/Senior Manager of Client Accounting Services plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the accounting services provided to clients here at Anchin. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting, leadership skills, and a client-focused approach. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of accounting processes while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their accounting needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and responsiveness to their inquiries.
  • Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and client-specific requirements.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial data to clients, assisting them in making informed business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the client accounting services function.
  • Implement best practices and stay abreast of industry trends to enhance service delivery.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Stay current with accounting regulations and standards, ensuring that client accounting processes remain compliant while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Assist clients in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support their planning and decision-making.
  • Evaluate and implement accounting software and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in client accounting services.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring that all expenditures are justified and aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to client accounting services, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA highly preferred.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience within client accounting services with a focus on consumer products expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Compensation

  • Competitive annual salary in the range of $130,000 to $160,000 based on the individual’s experience level.
