This is a 100% manual role working under the Team Leader.
Client has a strategic API strategy of exposing some APIs to business partners along with supporting internal applications. This role will primarily be focused on testing the external facing APIs. Other manual QA resources will be testing the internal APIs through the applications that use them.
Keys
This position will require the following specific skillset including but not limited to:
3+ years (current) API focused testing experience – absolute must have
5+ years of experience in SQA – absolute must have
Experience creating and managing tests – must have
Strong Postman testing / scripting skills – absolute must have
Experience working with JSON data objects – must have
Knowledge of REST API principles – must have
Excellent communication – absolute must have
Able to complete projects without direct supervision – must have
SQL skills - must have
NoSQL database experience – nice to have
