As a Manufacturing Equipment Specialist (also known as Equipment Engineer, Mechanical Engineer), you'll be responsible for supporting a fleet of automated production equipment. This involves efficient responses to real-time issues, fabrication and assembly of mechanical and electrical components, and development of long-term solutions in collaboration with maintenance and operations staff.

Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology or similar is preferred.
2+ years of hands-on experience as a machinist, welder, mechanic, equipment engineer, or similar role.
Experience with design, assembly and/or maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment.
Proficiency in Manual Machining Skills, Mechanical Assembly Skills, and CAD Software.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, PLC systems, and statistical process control concepts.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, and create and modify mechanical drawings, models and assemblies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
