Manufacturing Project Engineer

As our manufacturing division continues to grow, we're seeking a Project Engineer at the Kirby Risk Service Center in Lafayette, IN. This role is crucial in supporting our customers and contributing to our ongoing success by providing the best solutions to manufacturing issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communication with organization leadership, internal customers, and external customers
• Builds customer products from prints
• Analyzes customer requirements and provides customers with the best solution in the most cost-effective manner
• Resolve manufacturing problems with customers and internal build groups
• Create product-build visual aids and work instructions for the production associates
• Designs and writes specifications for pre-production projects as needed
• Develop customer relationships to:
• Uncover opportunities for additional projects
• Collect and report customer comments and complaints
• Assist production associates with new builds

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Electrical) or equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret prints
• Recognize the importance of developing and maintaining relationships with customers
• Demonstrate professionalism when representing the company
• Possess excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills and aptitude

Hours and Travel: 7:00 am-4:00 pm. Travel to customers as necessary.
