Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Duration: 09 months Contract on W2 (Contract to Hire)

Job Location: Beltsville, MD 20705

Note: US Citizen required for this position

Job Description

  • Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
  • Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
  • Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  • Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience 1-3 years
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail. Be able to work in a team-based environment and achieve goals with a "safety first" attitude.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • On-site only
  • Sometimes overtime and weekends.
  • 9/80 work schedule
