Marketing Project Manager

We are looking for a highly driven marketing professional. We need someone who is experienced in marketing and understands conversions, direct response, copywriting, advertising, and other marketing-related activities. You are not expected to do all of these, but you must be highly experienced in some of these areas and have a good understanding on the other areas.


The candidate is expected to apply their existing and transferable skills to the company immediately, and ‘hit the ground running.’ If you are just starting out in marketing or advertising, this is not the position for you.


We understand that there is a transitional learning period. However, the skill set should already be there, and we are just simply fitting those skills to the company – not teach you from the ground up.


What You’ll Do:


  • Oversee the creation of marketing content and campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and email
  • Oversee marketing logistics and resources
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data and analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales on requested deliverables
  • Manage a team of internal and external talent


Requirements:


  • Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in marketing and preferably 2 years experience in managing a marketing and advertising team
  • Ad agency experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to handle critical deadlines and short turnarounds in a fast-paced environment. Works well under pressure.
  • Possess the drive and creativity to increase sales
  • Strong background in direct response
  • Exceptional organization skills – can handle multiple projects at the same time while dealing with alterations, schedule changes, and Murphy’s Law
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Maintains high editorial standards. Has extremely critical eye for design and writing materials. Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy.
  • Must be tech-savvy and be comfortable with various marketing tools and adjacent technologies (Simply knowing social media does not equate to being tech savvy)
  • Ownership. The work that is live is yours--an extension of you and your dedication to perfection.
  • Strong work ethic, high level of professionalism, has integrity, is trustworthy, committed and has developed business maturity.


Conditions:


  • You must reside in the following states: WA, OR, MT, WY, CO, NM, AZ, NV, UT, ID. No exceptions.
  • Work Environment: This is a remote position, but you must be virtually present in a Zoom-like office environment during work hours. Freelancers need not apply.
