Qualifications
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate's Degree in Business Related coursework. | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience. Preferred: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
Workforce Management:
Directs, coordinates and audits the activities of the assigned materials and supply staff.
Hires, trains and prepares work schedules necessary to meet department requirements.
Material Distribution:
Oversees the procurement, processing, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment essential to nursing care, diagnostic procedures, and other patient care areas for assigned shift.
Accounts Payable:
Responsible for inventory management and ensuring the proper record keeping for supplies and material utilization.
Workforce Planning:
Develops and implements long and short-range plans for the assigned shift and department in order to provide quality, efficient and service to departments in the most cost effective manner possible.
Compliance:
Ensures that operations and staff on assigned shift meet the required JCAHO and other regulatory agency requirements.
