Who We're Looking For
We are seeking enthusiastic Part-time Remote Math Teachers to work with our lower elementary school students (Pre-K to 2nd grade). If you have a passion for teaching and are excited about making a difference in young learners' lives, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities
Teach elementary-level mathematics virtually using our state-of-the-art teaching platform.
Engage and manage an online classroom of up to 18 students.
Prepare and deliver lessons based on our curriculum and teaching guidance.
Grade Homework And Provide Other Essential Teaching-related Services.
Communicate effectively with students and parents, offering timely and personalized feedback.
Work 12-20 hours per week, primarily during weekends or weekday afternoons.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in any major (Education or STEM-related majors preferred).
Candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree are also encouraged to apply.
Prior experience in teaching math is a plus but not required.
Experience in elementary math competitions, either as a participant or a teacher, is a bonus.
Ability to commit to at least one full semester of teaching (Summer: June - Aug; Fall: Aug - Dec; Spring: Jan - May).
Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
A passion for teaching, a high level of responsibility, and a love for working with kids.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation
$40/hr, with teachers typically assigned 3 - 7 classes per week.
Pay Structure includes Teaching Fee * Number of Classes + Student Retention Bonus (Targeted at 15% of Teaching Fee) + Training Allowance.
