We provide customer-focused quick-turn repairs and maintain an immediate spares inventory for Cargo Loading Systems.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer at Mingo Aerospace located in Tulsa, OK. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to design engineering, machine design, mechanical engineering, product design, and computer-aided design (CAD). The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Perform complex analytical calculations to support design decisions.
• Utilize mechanical inspection tools to verify product specifications and quality.
• Work in a lab environment to conduct tests and validations of mechanical components.
• Create detailed technical drawings and documentation, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Collaborate with other engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Expertise in mechanical inspection tools and techniques.
• Experience working in a lab environment.
• Solid understanding of drafting standards and GD&T.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
