Medical Assistant’s Responsibilities
Record patients’ medical history, vital statistics, and other important information such as test results.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, and the physicians' instructions to patients and their caregivers.
Medical Assistant’s Qualifications
Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
Six (6) months of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with EMR is required.
A current CPR [Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation] Certification is required.
