We are seeking a dedicated Medical Biller to join our team remotely. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare operations by assisting clients with insurance claims, ensuring accurate billing processes, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
Assist clients in processing insurance claims across private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare platforms.
Manage and process necessary documentation and forms required for insurance billing.
Guide patients through the billing and insurance process, ensuring all forms and signatures are collected.
Coordinate with physicians' offices and hospitals to gather charge information and billing specifics.
Accurately input billing and payment details into the system with precision.
Conduct follow-up communications with clients and manage payment inquiries.
Handle incoming calls, address client inquiries, take messages, and screen calls effectively.
Uphold strict confidentiality protocols in handling sensitive patient information.
Verify insurance coverage and process claim denials or rejections when necessary.
Qualifications
Strong aptitude for customer service with a proven track record.
Previous Experience In Medical Coding Or Billing Preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Simple Practice; familiarity with EPIC EHR systems is advantageous.
Experience in credentialing is a plus but not mandatory.
