Network Engineer
Key Role:
Serve as a member of the Network Architecture and Engineering team focusing on data center and enterprise networking in a Cisco environment. Support connectivity to and from private cloud and co-located hosted infrastructure with public cloud integration. Support branch office and WAN site network capabilities. Install and provide physical connectivity to devices in a colocation datacenter. Assist with merger and acquisition activity related to network infrastructure consolidation and integrations. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Network Engineer
Key Role:

Basic Qualifications:
- 5 + years of experience with Cisco IOS and NX-OS configuration and administration
- 5+ years of experience in data center networking environments for a medium to large enterprise
- 5+ years of experience with the configuration and support of routing protocols, including BGP, EIGRP, or OSPF
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco wireless
- Experience in multi-vendor network environments
- Experience with network monitoring and logging systems
- Experience with Ansible, Python, and automation technologies
- Ability to respond to on-call and emergency incidents and to support network event escalations
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience in Cisco ISE
- Experience in Aruba Edge connects
- Knowledge of data center technologies, including virtualization, cloud IaaS, including Azure or AWS, F5 load balancing, and firewall and security technologies
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP Certification
