Job Title: Remote Nutritionist
Job Responsibilities
Conduct initial WIC assessments and develop client-centered nutrition care plans.
Provide medical nutrition therapy as per referrals and conduct nutrition classes.
Coordinate client services and referrals with appropriate agencies.
Participate in case plan reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Develop or approve nutrition education materials.
Offer initial counseling to high-risk participants and provide health education.
Educate Mothers On Breastfeeding, Nutrition, And Parenting Skills.
Monitor children's growth and development, referring to specialists as needed.
Conduct food surveys to assess community needs for local programs.
Provide personalized nutrition counseling for weight management and health concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Verification statement of completion of a didactic program accredited by The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.
Submission of Verification Statement and Transcripts required with application.
Additional Information
Hourly rate: $30.00; this position is not benefit eligible.
Remote equipment provided; reliable internet service required.
