Job Description

Hello! We are looking for a dedicated Operator II to join the team! Del Real Foods is a traditional Mexican food manufacturer born out of a family farm. Today, Del Real Food makes tamales, carnitas, salsas, and other recipes inspired by the Cardenas' native Jalisco - all created by hand with fresh ingredients and nothing artificial.

The Operator II works under general supervision and following the appropriate GMP’s the employee will perform a full range of assignments including Setting up ad operate machines in preparation for production.

Responsibilities and Duties:*

• Follow all safety procedures.
• Report any unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor or manager.
• Follow, Monitor, and Enforce all food safety procedures.
• Follow and enforce SQF requirements (Facilities, Equipment, SSOP, SOP, GMP’s, and ETC)
• Follow and enforce USDA & FDA guidelines and regulations.
• Follow Company Policies, Regulations, and Lunch & Break Policies
• Machine troubleshooting to keep them running at all times.
• Verify that equipment is in good working condition and report to his/her immediate supervisor when machines have a malfunction.
• Informs immediate Supervisor/Lead when product is out of specification and when non-conformances occur.
• Provides rapid response when equipment malfunctions or breaks down.
• Follow the company’s allergen program.
  
  

Requirements and Duties:*

• Intermediate Knowledge of USDA Establishment.
• Intermediate Knowledge of the Cryovac , Hot Pack Machines, and Cup filler
• Intermediate Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures and employee safety practices.
• Basic knowledge of company employee policies.
• Must be responsible and fast learner.
• Must have good organization skills
  
  

C. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE*

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in machine operating (Food Industry is a plus)
  
  

After completing an application, qualified candidates will be scheduled for a phone screen followed by an interview with the Salsas management team. Selected candidates will then be scheduled for an offer of employment and orientation!
