Out of School Time Educators will work directly with children in our branch supporting the students after school or out of school during the summer. There are both year round part-time opportunities and full-time/part-time summer seasonal opportunities.
Job Duties
Staff will ensure that children are actively participating in all aspects of learning programming of area school systems.
Staff will be physically working at our YMCA of Central Massachusetts branch assisting children when they are out of school during the summer or after school care during the school year.
Schedule: During the school year, its typically Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm-6:00 pm, with flexible availability to come in earlier if needed.
During the summer seasonal position, its typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm w/ flexibility in schedule.
Interested applicants should be at least 18 years old and have prior experience, preferably at least 6 months, working with school aged children, have a high school diploma/GED or in the process of obtaining a degree in a similar profession.
Job Type: Part-Time & Summer Seasonal
Pay: $16.00/hour. Plus, access to YMCA facilities to all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
