Outpatient Clinician

Division: Center for Counseling & Psychological Services (CCPS)

Position: Outpatient Clinician

Directly Responsible to: Division Co-Director

Summary of Outpatient Clinician:

Full-Time Clinical Mental Health Counselor will provide individual therapy and other clinical services to adults in a community mental health program. The position is part of the services offered through the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services at WCMHS. This dynamic position will provide trauma informed services out of our outpatient clinic. Position will have the opportunity to co-facilitate groups. Position receives weekly individual clinical supervision, and ample group supervision related to co-occurring substance misuse, DBT skills if applicable, and trauma treatment.

This is a 40 hour/ week salaried position. Some video/telehealth service delivery at present time but position is office based.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a master's degree in a relevant field
  • Eligibility for licensure in the respective discipline
  • One to three years of mental health experience preferred

Physical Requirements:The role may involve the following physical requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing during therapy sessions and administrative tasks
  • Effective verbal communication, including the ability to clearly convey information both in-person and over the phone
  • Basic manual dexterity to handle documentation and computer-related tasks
  • Mobility to move within the office environment and between different work locations
