This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and has the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients in the concrete industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the concrete industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including contractors, builders, and plant managers.
- Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure profitability.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in the concrete or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete products, construction materials, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the Greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Competitive base salary during training then 4% commission with a potential of $150,000.
