Packaging Technicians will report directly to the Packaging Group Leader. This position will have primary responsibility for packaging (both sterile and non-sterile) operations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Verify products are correct and perform inspection of product using precision measuring equipment (such as calipers and micrometers) as applicable for product identification, prior to packaging
Verify paperwork is complete and accurate, ensuring all products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications
Package product per setup sheet specifications
Accurately compile final paperwork and verify/review job completion
Print and apply labels as necessary
Run packaging, sealing, and testing machinery
Compile Certificate of Compliance documentation packages according to customer requirements
Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve questions and concerns as they arise
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist and train others as requested
Education And/or Experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
ISO 13485 experience preferred

Environmental & Physical Demands
Manufacturing environment: sitting or standing for long periods of time is required
May require repetitive motions
May require working in isolated space (i.e., clean room) for periods of time
May require special attire (gowns, hairnets, etc.) if working in a clean room environment
Occasional exposure to loud noise
May require lifting up to 40 lbs.
