Baptist Health is hiring a Paralegal Corporate Governance to join the Legal Services team. This is a full-time opportunity located on the downtown campus of Baptist Health.
The governance paralegal and board liaison will provide paralegal support to the chief executive officer and chief legal officer on matters related to corporate governance and fiduciary responsibilities, as well as provide high-level administrative support to the boards of directors of the corporation and its subsidiaries.
The governance paralegal and board liaison coordinates board meetings, prepares agendas and minutes, maintains governance records and documents, and communicates with board members and senior executives.
The governance paralegal and board liaison also performs other duties as assigned by the board chair, governance committee chair, the CEO or the CLO.
The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting and reviewing corporate documents, preparing board materials, and coordinating board meetings and communications, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with board members and other stakeholders and to foster trust and collaboration.
Certified Paralegal preferred.
A bachelor degree is required or an Associate Degree with a minimum of seven years corporate governance paralegal experience.
