Position Details
Job Title: Paralegal or Contracts Negotiator
Location: Remote (Southeast United States: Missouri, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida)

The Role
Join our expanding legal team and play a pivotal role in shaping our future success. As a Paralegal or Contracts Negotiator, you'll collaborate closely with our General Counsel and bids team to streamline contract negotiation and management processes. From procurement to grant management, you'll help deliver top-tier solutions that support the thriving public sector.
Responsibilities
Work alongside our General Counsel to develop and implement a strategic contracts playbook aligned with our risk management goals.
Support our bids team in responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), including conducting preliminary contract reviews and identifying exceptions.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of our contracts management system, ensuring seamless tracking and approval processes for all documents.
Manage the distribution and filing of executed agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Handle various administrative tasks related to contract negotiation, approval, and execution as needed.
Post-training, engage in the redlining and negotiation of complex agreements for SaaS products and services, serving public sector clients such as state and local governments and K-12 education providers.
Who We're Looking For
1-3 years of experience as a paralegal or contracts negotiator, ideally within a SaaS company or similar environment.
Familiarity with the RFP contracting process and experience with contract management systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating effectively with sales and RFP teams to meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and clarity.
Flexibility in assessing risks and making practical decisions independently or as part of a team.
