About the Role:
Job Title: Performance Testing Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Design robust Performance Test Strategies for applications and the consumer technology ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Development, Project Managers, and Solution Architects for application tests and early issue identification.
- Work closely with teams for load tests based on software delivery schedules.
- Review and ensure comprehensive evaluation of infrastructure and application responsiveness in performance test results.
- Provide SME leadership, implement industry best practices, and automate Performance Testing in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Define post-mortem/root-cause analysis processes and execute Performance tests supporting Agile software Delivery.
- Demonstrate strong project management discipline, metrics creation, and visualization skills.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or related areas.
- Experience with microservice architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud ecosystems.
- Knowledge of infrastructure components, application architecture, and Agile Lifecycle.
- Some programming experience (C#/Java, Python, SQL) is advantageous.
- Proven leadership in technology transformation initiatives.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking for firm-wide solutions, effective communication to diverse audiences.
- Ability to orchestrate and drive complex strategies and solutions.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
Location: Onsite in Dallas
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000- $120,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
