Job Description

PWI is looking for a young, energetic person who enjoys working and speaking with new people to bring on board as a salesperson for our growing company. PWI covers a 6 state area and the best applicant will responsible for covering territory within PA, MD, NJ, DE, WV and VA. As the EuroCard MasterCard Visa (EMV) deadline has been pushed from 10/2017 to 10/2020, opportunities are abundant to sell our customers the equipment and upgrades necessary to begin taking the new "Chip-based" cards at all fueling facilities' gasoline dispensers. Job duties include:

  • Petroleum equipment salesperson to plan out target customers and visit with decision makers to educate them on the reasons and options for upgrading
  • Petroleum equipment salesperson to perform site surveys and create drawings of existing locations to turn over to estimating for installation pricing
  • Petroleum equipment salesperson to specify the proper equipment and work with vendors for special pricing
  • Petroleum equipment salesperson that possess the skills to work and schedule themselves independently
  • Petroleum equipment salesperson that learns the entire petroleum business and begin to seek and sell new opportunities outside of the EMV upgrades.
  • Petroleum equipment salesperson’s compensation is only limited by your own drive to succeed.

Since 1948, PWI, Incorporated, headquartered in New Oxford, PA, has been a family-owned, full stocking petroleum equipment distributorship specializing in Design, Construction, Sales and Service of fuel and lubrication dispensing facilities. This includes retail convenience stores, industrial/commercial applications, car dealerships, emergency generators, and all vehicle fleet operations. PWI also employs one of the most knowledgeable service departments ready to tackle the toughest mechanical, as well as the most intricate electronic issues. Many of our technicians hold certifications outside the normal petroleum industry such as Networking, Cisco, and Microsoft, to name a few. PWI utilizes this knowledge, coupled with direct factory training to implement such money-saving techniques as remote monitoring and troubleshooting to determine if issues can be rectified over the phone or to collect valuable troubleshooting information prior to leaving for the site.

PWI also has an in-house, 1000 sq. ft. Training Facility utilized to not only train our own techs and customers, but to allow us to test the latest technologies in a controlled environment prior to testing at a live facility. Headquartered out of our training facility is also PWI’s Project Management Team and Helpdesk. PWI employs technicians on our helpdesk to assist with managing large project rollouts and post-installation technical support for large national accounts.
