Provide support to areas of planning, inventory control and work schedules for multiple manufacturing departments and other company divisions to meet the demand for products sold.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
Conduct daily/weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Manage inventory and submit requisitions to master planner
Prepare and submit status and performance reports
Keep paperwork organized
Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff
All other duties as assigned
Skills:
Strong math skills required
Advanced communication skills required
Basic MS Word, Excel and Outlook software experience required
Must be able to work with all employees throughout multiple departments and divisions
Ability to maintain a clean and neat work environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Must be familiar with manufacturing and productions processes
Proven experience in production and inventory management required
Computer experience using ERP software preferred
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of sitting and/or walking (33-75% of time)
Stooping, bending, twisting, leaning (10%-25% of time)
Lifting of 25-40 lbs. occasionally (0%-33% of time)
