Plant Engineering Manager

FPC of Hendersonville is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer for a Plant Engineering Manager role to oversee the maintenance team, manage KPIs, and serve as a critical liaison between corporate and site operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Apply mass, momentum, and heat transfer principles to process and equipment design.
• Provide technical advice on plant operations and improvements, including preliminary and detailed design, cost analysis, and equipment selection.
• Oversee all plant assets and manage capital projects for the site.
• Create and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Communicate with customers and contractors to ensure project success.
• Work with vendors on product specifications, purchases, and quality evaluations.
• Control, track, and report on the capital and maintenance budgets.
• Manage performance for direct reports in Plant Maintenance.
• Set objectives, coach team members, provide feedback, and communicate departmental goals.
• Serve as the Management Representative for the PSM program, ensuring its implementation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with maintenance/engineering/project engineering in an industrial manufacturing setting
• 2-3 years of management experience
• Six Sigma Green or Black belt preferred
• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required
