Job Summary:

Westland is looking for an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing water, waste, vents, and gas lines. The Plumber performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on properties, mechanical, equipment, and utility systems.

Required Work Hours: 40 hours/week + on-call after regular work hours for emergencies

Experience:

• 4+ years of prior experience with maintenance occupation
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
• Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issues
• Repair or replace damaged parts
• Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs
• Keep detailed notes and create work reports documenting projects
  
  
  

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - preferred
• Certificate in: plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, or other technical studies - preferred
