Position Overview

Aksia is actively seeking analysts to join our New York Portfolio Advisory team. The Advisory team at Aksia is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing advisory relationships with large, sophisticated investors, by bringing together the resources of the firm for the benefit of each client. The team not only works with existing clients on the development and implementation of their alternative investment portfolios but is also the central point for the marketing and business development efforts of the firm.

This position is based in Aksia’s New York office with an anticipated start in July 2025. Dates can be flexible for candidates graduating a semester or quarter early.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and developing firm marketing materials
  • Collecting, organizing and tracking prospective client information
  • Developing knowledge and expertise of new managers, strategies, and investment opportunities to help clients meet their specific objectives
  • Helping with client meeting preparation, for both existing and prospective clients, including presentations and other ad-hoc projects
  • Liaising with research, advisory, legal, and client operations teams for the completion of projects
  • Supporting global with their marketing initiatives
  • Coordinating and planning of marketing-related manager and client events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree received by Summer 2025
  • Strong academic record, >3.5 cumulative GPAs preferred
  • Demonstrated interest in finance / investment management or capital markets required (all majors welcome)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Attentive to detail

Base Pay/Salary

The estimated base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Aksia pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
