Must-have skills: 2+ y of exp with power system analysis tools including PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen and GE PSLF software; exp with electrical engineering concepts such as power flow, stability, voltage regulation, reactive support etc.; exp with interconnection procedures as defined by ISO’s/Utilities/TOs across U.S; energy exp

Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
• Experience in interconnection procedures as defined by ISO’s/Utilities/TOs across U.S.
• Experience with power system analysis tools including PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen and GE PSLF software;
• Experience in electrical engineering concepts such as power flow, stability, voltage regulation, reactive support etc.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in power flow analysis, stability studies, voltage studies, technical analysis of disturbances, implementation of regulatory reliability standards
  
  

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following

• Provide technical expertise to all aspects of generation interconnection processes and operational requirements;
• Create and validate PSSE, PSLF and PSCAD models for solar, wind and battery projects;
• Develop software tools that enhance system reliability and organizational efficiency;
• Ensure compliance with regional modeling requirements for new and existing generation projects;
• Ensures implementation of standards, policies, training, and support of organization.
