Ability to assemble component parts according to blueprint specifications, and after assembly, if required, test the part per Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Receive job order direction from supervisor.
Read and interpret the blueprint.
Create setup (whether it is a setup box or a simple setup).
Perform repair work (under FAA guidelines) as required.
Assemble the parts using the setup and to blueprint specifications.
Read and interpret ATP and its procedures to test the parts (if ATP is required for the part).
Fill out test data to record results of the ATP, if applicable.
Test parts from other outside sources and answer any questions, if necessary.
Help out in other production areas where needed, to complete the job orders to schedule.
Comply with Essex company policies and maintain a positive work environment.
Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needs
Requirements
Required Education/Experience/Certifications:
Required to have 3 months to 1 year experience in assembly work; high school level education preferred, or equivalent.
