ECE develops rugged electronics, controls (actuation/engine), and software specializing in Aerospace & Defense electronics, Automotive electronic design, and Industrial electronics systems. Since its inception, ECE has been a well-respected electronic control system developer of actuation/servo controllers, propulsion controllers, and FADECs for many Fortune 500 companies as well as numerous smaller companies.

This President will have full P&L responsibility for the business. We are looking for a leader that has a strong strategic mindset, likes taking on big challenges. An existing network within the DoD and other defense OEMs is a positive for this position.


This position must be on-site at our facility in Northern Ohio. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.


Responsibilities:

· Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to advance its mission and objectives and promote revenue, profitability, and growth.

· Financial Oversight: Establish and manage the company’s budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure financial sustainability. Take accountability for the P&L, including cost control and revenue enhancement.

· Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with company goals. Lead the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate project and manufacturing process design reviews for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.

· Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing management team. Foster a company culture that promotes ethical practices, encourages individual integrity, and maintains a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven business leader with P&L experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in growing businesses and achieving sustainable results.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of making data-driven decisions.


Qualifications:

  • MS or BS in electrical engineer, computer engineer, or 8 years related to engineering experience.
  • Experience in program management or project leadership
  • Preferred experience in industry such as Aerospace, Defense and or government contracting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
  • On site required

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
