POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pricing Analyst will provide pricing review and support for specific geographic regions for Alside. This position is a strategic partner for Sales that will help drive top-line and bottom-line targets, consistent with our strategic objectives.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Support as defined below, Regional teams by managing, defining, and refining analytics that will identify opportunities for pricing improvement.


DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Manage Region specific rebate and marketing reimbursement programs.

 Collaborate with centralized pricing team and implement periodic price adjustments.

o Analyze historic pricing details to support adjustment decisions.

 Manage and Deliver customer specific price pages.

 Update customer pricing in mainframe price model as necessary

 Support sales team finding resolution to customer requests

 Support sales team modeling price and margin for growth opportunities

 Monitor and report on finance performance on implemented price strategies (actual vs. projected).

 Report on credit card fees and help leaders shift buying behavior from credit card transactions.

 Ensure data quality through validation and inspection.

 Analyze customer purchasing behavior and provide volume/mix reporting.

 Manage price deviations, address margin leakage, and provide data driven pricing recommendations.

 Develop competitive pricing intelligence database and tools that will guide a market-based approach to price adjustments.

 Ensure Regions are managing against predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to the pricing performance of your assigned region(s)

 Build process to analyze region sales and margin performance and identify opportunities for pricing improvement.

To achieve above the selected candidate is required to have a good working relationship with Regional Sales Vice Presidents and our overall Sales organization.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

 Bachelor's degree in Business Finance/Marketing/Economics or equivalent experience; MBA preferred

5+ years of progressive professional work experience supporting commercial functions

and at least 2 years supporting a Pricing function.

 Strong business acumen, with understanding of how pricing decisions affect volume, growth and profitability

 Business manager mindset with drive for continuous improvement

 Very strong analytical and modeling skills, especially using Excel

 Exceptional Collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the company

Skilled using MS Word, PowerPoint and PowerBI
