Job Title: Principal Application Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Creates technology solutions addressing high impact business priorities. Demonstrates the ability to analyze, design, code, test and deploy solutions and product features with high quality to production. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.

Position required skills: Position requires: 1 year of experience in: 1. Kafka admin. 2. Source code control management systems using GitHub. 2 years of experience in: 1. AWS development. 2. Elastic search development and admin. 3. Use configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, and Salt Stack. 4. Scripting languages including Bash, Python, and AWS CLI. 3 years of experience in Terraform development. 4 years of experience in Java development.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $144,560.00 to $175,600.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
