About The Role
The Principal Business Manager will lead growth in one of our USA corridors (customers sending to a specific country from the USA). This is a strategy, analytics and operations role involving planning, building, and executing initiatives across product, pricing, marketing, analytics, customer service and other departments. The Principal Business Manager will report to the Director of Business Management.
You would be expected to work in Hybrid environment in the Seattle or Washington DC Office.

About The Role
The Principal Business Manager will lead growth in one of our USA corridors (customers sending to a specific country from the USA). This is a strategy, analytics and operations role involving planning, building, and executing initiatives across product, pricing, marketing, analytics, customer service and other departments. The Principal Business Manager will report to the Director of Business Management.
You would be expected to work in Hybrid environment in the Seattle or Washington DC Office.
You Will
- Accountable for overall sustainable growth of our USA to one of our key countries' corridors. Responsible for driving overall corridor performance, including key performance indicators like new customers, monthly active customers, transactions, volume, revenue, unit economics and customer lifetime value
- Drive customer learnings and hypotheses generation to iterate faster towards the right customer and business outcomes
- Oversee the ongoing views about competition, market, and customer trends. You will translate regional strategies into specific market goals across multiple functions
- Partner closely with marketing, product, pricing, and other relevant teams to identify ways to grow KPIs within the region and improve the overall customer experience
- Analytics - through collaboration with the analytics teams (pricing / product / marketing), you will create customer behavior and market analyses to obtain insights and develop executional plans
- Drive executional excellence on initiatives and define the right strategic context/clear prioritisation for stakeholders
- Lead building business cases for key initiatives and influence prioritization of partner-teams' roadmaps through structured business impact / customer centric frameworks
- Develop long-term strategies and influence leadership decisions
- 9+ years of experience in Business Management or Strategy Consulting in a Fintech, consumer technology, or e-commerce industry sectors
- Experience with making data driven decisions, using a combination of qual and quant data insights.
- Experience with data modelling / analysis
- Experience working in a global matrix organisation and in fast growth international environments
- Grasp of drivers and mechanics for high transaction volume businesses.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to generate good quality hypotheses (combining qual and quant insights).
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior members or a cross-functional squad to deep dive into an ambiguous problem statement with a significant impact on the business, create structured logical frameworks
- Experienced influencing and working with cross-functional stakeholder towards business and customer-centric solutions
