Responsibilities:
UX Design & Prototyping
Drive product design vision and architecture in collaboration with Head of Product and diverse group of stakeholders.
Craft intuitive, user-centric flows and interfaces, considering all facets of the user experience, from overarching user journeys to micro-interactions.
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile.
UI Design & Branding
Design visually captivating and coherent user interfaces, maintaining consistency across all platforms, products, and channels.
Develop and maintain style guides, design systems, and UI libraries.
Implement and maintain consistent brand identity across all channels and surfaces, including product interfaces, splash pages, slide decks, social media graphics, and more.
User Research & Discovery
Conduct and analyze user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to gather insights.
Identify pain points and areas for improvement in current and future Surface experiences.
Ensure user needs are well understood and communicated across the team
Develop user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.
Leadership, collaboration & Communication
Partner with Head of Product and engineering team on product discovery and delivery activities.
Collaborate closely with engineers in a fast-paced environment to ensure designs are technically feasible and address any implementation hurdles.
Clearly present and explain design decisions to a diverse group of stakeholders, from team members to external partners. Respectfully challenge.
Cultivate a collaborative environment where respectful challenge and feedback are welcomed, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the team and the product.

Qualifications:
7+ years in dynamic, intensive learning environments centered on product design and quality user experiences
Portfolio showcasing visual design craft, complex systems thinking, and user-centered approach resulting in launched products and experiences that users love.
Proven expertise in designing and refining products based on genuine user feedback and data insights. A history of engaging with real users to achieve significant product results.
0-1 or “build” experience of a new product even if in a larger organization
