The Print Production & Graphics Associate will manufacture print media. This position will also provide digital design support. On a day-to-day basis, this position will support our color-matching and texture development functions.

Essential Functions:

  • Effectively use large format printers and cut vinyl to client specifications.
  • Compare print samples and maintain consistent color throughout all prints.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of installation practices.
  • Cut vinyl materials on a CNC router.
  • Apply the vinyl wrap to the product according to specifications using appropriate tools.
  • Meet deadlines set by a manufacturing schedule.
  • Prepare color-matched samples with a spectrophotometer instrument.
  • Prepare custom vinyl wrap in Photoshop according to specifications.
  • Train and/or teach process flow and how to use the equipment.

Competencies

  • Ability to consistently handle and follow through with multiple projects and assignments and meet deadlines; ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; ability to function effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, ability to prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to operate and maintain a large format digital printer, large format laminator, CNC vinyl cutter, and spectrophotometer.
  • Innovative and creative within a professional environment.

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Required: Associate Degree in Graphic Design or a related study.

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

  • Preferred: 1 year of graphic design experience
  • Preferred: 1 year of using CNC Vinyl Cutter
  • Preferred: 1 year of vinyl installation experience.
  • Preferred: 3M Advanced Installation Training certification.

Pay: $20 to $26. hr.
