MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT). Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will perform circuit board layouts using CAD software. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not limited to:
Interpreting schematic diagrams and utilizing preliminary sketches, diagrams, and other engineering information to generate PCB designs for RF, Digital, Power, and Mixed Signal disciplines.
Executing the detail design for printed circuit boards and completion of documentation to IPC and department standards using PCB design CAD tool
Working with the Producibility Engineer to facilitate design reviews as they relate to PCB layout and design for manufacturability.
Required Skills
5+ years’ experience designing the layout of printed circuit boards using Siemens (Mentor) Xpedition suite of tools.
Must be familiar with applicable industry (IPC) design and end product performance standards for circuit card assemblies and printed wiring boards including IPC-6012, IPC-2221, J-STD-001, IPC-7351
Ability to communicate technical knowledge and document descriptions of technical solutions for CCA and PCB technology products.
Desired Skills
In addition to Xpedition experience, familiarity with design tools for printed circuit board and circuit card assembly technologies (EDM Library, Blueprint, VALOR NPI, etc.)
Prior experience designing, and/or supporting aerospace/defense related products.
Expertise in component selection for military and aerospace environments
