Shape the Future as Our Lending Process Owner!

We’re looking for a forward-thinking, result driven Process Owner to lead the way in managing and transforming our lending processes and setting new company standards.

As the process owner, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to optimize and innovate our lending process. You will work among cross-functional groups to streamline our processes and implement solutions that will enhance efficiency and drive growth for a core revenue driver of the bank.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to drive change at all levels of the organization and to directly interface and interact with IDB’s senior management team, including the CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, and key business area heads.

Your Responsibilities

  • Innovate our Lending Process:
    • Use data driven insights to monitor end-to-end lending process performance. Ensure process objectives are being met by identifying any bottlenecks and changes needed.
    • Identify innovative opportunities to further optimize and enhance our lending processes, in partnership with key business stakeholders
  • Manage and Improve Lending Workflows in Salesforce:
    • As the lending process owner, you will manage and monitor the end-to-end lending workflows in Salesforce by leveraging dashboards and reports to drive data driven insights
    • Firm up requirements to improve lending workflows in Salesforce, in collaboration with key business users. Collaborate with our tech department to discuss business needs and requirements and work on a solution.
    • As a “Super User”, you will have the ability to make certain process configurations in Salesforce directly to reflect changes in lending process, etc.
  • Implement innovative solutions and drive change:
    • Implement innovative solutions and new process changes for employees across various geographic regions and functions.
    • Act as a change agent and successfully implement and manage change related to process improvements and change among IDB Bank employees
  • Collaborate and Inspire:
    • Collaborate closely among cross functional teams and key business stakeholders to co-create and develop solutions to further streamline and enhance our lending process
    • Work closely with domain owners (tools & application experts) to implements changes to their specific domain
    • Promote culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Inspire your colleagues with the “Art of the Possible”.
Who you will report into:

  • You will directly report into the Head of Strategic Projects for IDB, who oversees and manages all strategic projects for the bank.
  • In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to be mentored and coached by a senior transformation manager, who can provide guidance and mentorship related to process design, optimization and guidance on stakeholder management.

, Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience:
    • 5-7 years of overall work experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services, specifically with experience in Commercial Banking
    • Familiarity/knowledge of lending products and processes including underwriting
    • Experience working on strategic and/or innovation related projects and initiatives
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams and working with multiple stakeholders
    • Experience in executing new solutions and changes to users and managing change
    • Experience with Salesforce and other workflow tools

  • Skills:
    • Problem Solving & Analytical Ability: Effectively analyze and break down complex problems. Develop effective and novel solutions (i.e. doesn’t jump just at “quick fixes”).
    • Execution Skills: Effective planner and able to prioritize opportunities according to business needs; Can Drive things to “Done” to implement new process changes and/or solutions
    • Leadership Skills: Foster a collaborative environment and motivates and inspires team members to play their role effectively.
    • Communication Skills: Can effectively communicate process goals, changes, etc. across all levels of organizations. Able to effectively present visualization of solutions to senior leaders via Powerpoint, etc.
    • Change Management: Can effectively implement and manage change (e.g., overcome resistance to change, getting users adjusted to new change, etc.)

Compensation

The expected annual base salary for this position is between $130,000- 150,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills, experience, and book of business. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for incentive compensation, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
