PROCESS OPTIMIZATION AND OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Yokogawa Newnan, GA

Works as a member of the Life business team, under the direction of the Director, Life business, providing support to the sales and service team. The Process Optimization and Operations Specialist is responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders, evaluating existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and streamline operations. This role requires an understanding of business processes.

DUTIES/RESULTS

Process Optimization:

  • Evaluate current sales and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Implement digital solutions, such as workflow automation tools, to streamline operations, reduce manual effort of redundant tasks, and improve efficiency.

Sales Operation:

Collaborate with Finance to ensure a smooth "quote-to-cash" handoff including, but not limited to:

  • Administrator new customer setup and precredit approval requests.

  • Assist with PO routing and tracking for timely booking.

  • Assist with customer pre-qualification response and vendor setups request

  • Assist with sales data entry and maintenance to ensure sales data is accurate and compliant

  • Assist with managing sales content upkeep on Sales Enablement platform and user management.

Service Operation:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand service business requirements and objectives related to service management processes.

  • Document process changes, system configurations, and best practices for reference and training purposes.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to process improvement and systems optimization.

System Management:

  • Maintain and optimize CRM systems and other sales tools to ensure data accuracy and usability.

  • Provide training and support to sales and service teams on the use of tools and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document workflows, and understand business needs.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on results.

DIMENSION:

Accountable for the fulfillment of above duties. Shares accountability with other staff members to achieve department and corporate goals. Must be a team oriented and dedicated to quality work delivery. Must be responsible, professional, well organized, able to work with limited supervision and adaptable to change in order to maintain and/or improve YCA's reputation for high integrity, industry leadership and good citizenship. Must be able to communicate effectively and possess good work ethics.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience in business and/or digital transformation, project management, change management, data analysis, and related roles is a plus

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in the following technologies a plus: Python, SQL, R, VBA, Tableau, PowerBI, Java, Microsoft Power Platform
